Why hello there! If you made it this far then I guess you want to find out a little bit about the tinkerer behind this blog. Well, that’s me, Paolo Di Pasquale 🙃

I was born in Sicily in the 80s and spent the first 7 or so years there before moving to a village on the outskirts of Oxfordshire 🏠. My late papa’ was Italian 🇮🇹 and my mum is English 🇬🇧, which is where I drew the inspiration for the name of this blog. I’m an Italian Anglo, hence, itanglo!

I work for a company called Yell.com in the UK. We used to be known for the big yellow book 📒, but nowadays we focus primarily on our digital offering. I’m part of the Engineering team and I work mainly on building user journeys that you can access from a web browser 🖥.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, making pizza 🍕, taking walks in the woods 🌲 or by the river, playing tennis 🎾, swimming 🏊‍♂️ and following the gunners ⚽️. I also like reading books about habits 📗 and during lockdown I dusted off the acoustic guitar and tried learning the odd tune 🎶.

You can find me on twitter and I occasionally push some commits to my personal github. I hope you enjoy reading my blog. Arrivederci 👋
